City Limits, a five-piece indie pop band, had the audience dancing and singing along even when the mic broke. Their talent was undeniable, yet they never quite reached the mainstream success they deserved. Rhodes, who was instrumental in their journey from local pubs to bigger venues, remembers their energetic performances and the unique blend of Captain Beefhart and Frank Zappa influences with a punkesque twist. Despite their limited success, City Limits recently released an album titled 'To Hull and Back' in Germany, and their reunion concert in Berlin attracted fans from far-flung places like Romania.
